FAQs

Do I need to use oil or cooking spray on the plates?
Yes, a light application is recommended. Even though the plates feature a non-stick coating, brushing them lightly with melted butter or a quick spray of cooking oil before adding batter ensures an effortless release and a smooth, golden-brown crust.
How do I know when the machine is ready to bake?
The machine does not have an adjustable temperature dial; it uses an automatic thermostat. When you plug it in, an indicator light will turn on. Once the machine reaches the optimal baking temperature (usually within 3–5 minutes), the light will change status or turn off, indicating it is time to pour the batter.
How long does it take to bake a batch of donuts?
Baking typically takes between 3 to 5 minutes per batch. Because the 1200–1400W system heats both the top and bottom plates simultaneously, you do not need to flip the donuts halfway through cooking.
How do I clean the appliance if the plates are not removable?
Never submerge the machine in water or place it under a running tap. Once the machine is unplugged and completely cool, simply wipe down the plates with a damp microfiber cloth or a moist paper towel. For stubborn, baked-on batter crumbs, apply a drop of cooking oil, let it sit for a few minutes to soften, and then wipe it away.
