How long does it take to boil water

At 1500 watts, a full 2.3-liter reservoir typically reaches a rolling boil within 4 to 6 minutes.

Can I turn it back on immediately after it shuts off?

The built-in safety thermostat requires roughly 15 to 30 seconds to cool down before you can physically engage the power switch again.

Why does the switch click off before the water boils?

This is often triggered by heavy mineral accumulation on the base plate, which tricks the internal thermal safety switch into thinking the unit is overheating. Regular descaling will solve this issue.

What happens if I turn it on without water?

The kettle features built-in boil-dry protection. It automatically cuts power immediately if the internal sensors detect no liquid inside, protecting the heating element from cracking.
