FAQs

Why is water leaking from the soleplate?
Steam may stop working if the iron isn’t hot enough or the steam button is overused. Set it to the steam range, wait for it to heat up fully, and pause briefly between steam bursts.
Can I use regular tap water to fill the tank?
Yes, regular tap water is generally fine. However, if you live in a hard water area with high mineral content, it is highly recommended to mix tap water with distilled water (50/50 ratio) to prevent rapid limescale buildup. Do not use 100% distilled water or scented water, as they can spit and damage internal seals.
Why did the iron emit smoke or a strange smell on its first use?
This is completely normal. Factory manufacturing oils and protective coatings on the heating element burn off during the initial heat-up. The smell and light smoke will disappear completely after a few minutes of use.
Can I use this iron for dry ironing without water?
Yes. Simply turn the steam regulator dial to the "Dry" position (the zero or no-steam symbol). You do not need to fill the water tank for dry ironing.
