How long does it take to boil a full pot of water?

Why is the kettle shutting off before the water actually boils?

This usually happens if the lid is not fully closed or latched shut. The auto shut-off mechanism relies on steam induction passing through the handle channel; an open lid prevents the sensor from triggering properly.

Does the kettle turn off automatically if it runs out of water?

Yes. The appliance features built-in boil-dry protection. If it detects no liquid inside, it cuts off power automatically to prevent damaging the stainless steel heating coil.

Why are white or brown spots forming at the bottom of the reservoir?

These are harmless calcium carbonate deposits (limescale) caused naturally by heating hard tap water. It is not rust or paint peeling off.
