FAQs

Is the jar truly unbreakable?
Yes, under normal kitchen conditions. The jars are made from polycarbonate (PC) plastic rather than standard glass or brittle acrylic. It will not shatter if accidentally dropped from a kitchen counter. However, it can still scratch over time if repeatedly used to blend highly abrasive materials like hard stones or metal utensils.
Can it grind hard local Ghanaian ingredients like dried corn or cassava?
Only in small quantities. While the 600-watt pure copper motor is powerful, it is categorized as a "commercial-style" household blender rather than an industrial mill. It easily handles melon seeds (egusi), dried peppers, ginger, and nuts. For incredibly dense items like dried corn or dried cassava (kokonte), it is best to process them in small, controlled batches using the dry mill attachment to prevent motor strain.
Does it have an automatic overheat protection system?
Yes. The pure copper motor is built with an internal thermal protection switch. If the motor gets too hot due to continuous heavy blending or overloading, the blender will temporarily shut off automatically to prevent the coils from burning out. If this happens, you must let it cool down for 15 to 20 minutes before restarting.
How long can I run the blender continuously?
It is best to use a pulse rhythm. To prolong the lifespan of the motor, avoid running the blender continuously for more than 1 to 2 minutes at a time. Run it in short 30-second bursts, especially when processing thick paste, mincing meat, or milling tough spices.
